'Real People, Real Characters, Real Life' - We create cinematic stories that reveal the human side of organisations - crafted from concept to final cut
Showreel - Real people, Art and Commercial work.

We start with a concept and a shot list. We visualize in our heads and on location. Sweco - No day, project, problem or plan is the same. So why should everyone on your team be the same? New Employer Brand Campaign Film. For Sweco, europe's leading archtecture and engineering consultancy, we realized a new employer brand campaign film. Important to Sweco is creating a diverse and inclusive society. Being an employer themselves they want to be part of the solution, by creating a working environement where everyone feels welcome and safe. HumanAid, an exemplery NGO of the 21st century, is building a global team of volunteers for creating humanitarian campaigns in order to raise money to support local organisations in disaster- stricken areas. This to help people in need swiftly. Whenever humanitairian help is needed the network activates talented people from around the globe with relevant experience and know how to create high impact campaigns. The goal was to attract a new influx of young people and inspire them for new jobs at the City. To accomplish that we dove into the richness of the local community. We worked with a small production crew, most of the time just us, so that the lively and delicate ambience wouldn't be disturbed when shooting on location. Shooting from day to night at every corner of the City and with the cooperation of a lot of friendly people, the result is a poetic Employer Brand movie showing a vibrant and diverse Amsterdam. We also shot 17 'Shorts' about the daily working life of civil servants. The campaign is a tribute to these hard working people who keep the community afloat, inside their offices and in the streets of this beautiful City. A film about the civil servants of the City of Amsterdam, the people who devote their daily work to the common good of a vibrant city. City of Amsterdam - Recruitment campaign. Personal stories about the daily work of Civil Servants [17 shorts] Seventeen short film portraits of Amsterdam’s civil servants. Each story is personal, intimate, and unique — yet together they form a collective portrait of what it means to work for the city. City of Amsterdam - campaign 'Straatintimidatie'
Case: Many people don't realise the impact that words can have. They can make you feel unsafe and afraid on the street, and can make you adjust you behaviour accordingly. If you have ever been threatened, abused or called at, you know: words are not always just words, they get under your skin. Linkdesign Agency: The City of Amsterdam is fed up with improper street behaviour, and asked Linkdesign to develop an impactful campaign that really addresses the issue. In the images, they 'tattooed' hurtful phrases on the skin of the victims, showing the lasting effect these words have. Accelerate - The year in fast-forward. Video Installations 'Donker Licht', Corona avonden, Amsterdam mei 2020 - Video Installation about a city in lock down. THE PROJECT - After being in lock down for several weeks, IZARIN and VAN DER LINDE wandered the streets of Amsterdam after nightfall in this historic time frame. A starkly different city from the normal bustling metropolis, that seemed, at first glance, to be abandoned. They were struck by the surreal, empty streets and squares, the unnaturally audible sounds of empty trams, the individual movement of a solitary cyclist, or a single human shrouded in shadow, in an eerily quiet yet still softly illuminated city. The making of 'Donker Licht' - A 4 channel video installation about Amsterdam in lock down. 'Silent Crowds'- Video Installation celebrating 100 years of Schiphol. A 'Teaser' and a 'Making of'. SILENT CROWDS
Our Approach
We don't construct moments. We capture them.
In this era of AI, we want to showcase the beauty, authenticity and complexity of the real world. The purity, the emotions of real people in their surroundings, and in their day-to-day reality of work.
We work differently
After 30+ years as photographers and filmmakers, moving between the art and the commercial world, we've learned one thing: real stories can't be scripted. They have to be seen, felt, and captured as they unfold.
On location, we're just the two of us. A small, flexible crew. People relax. They forget the cameras. That delicate atmosphere? We protect it. That's when authentic moments emerge.
We use existing light with subtle fill. No film-set lighting setups. The space stays real, stays intimate. It breathes.
We shoot with two cameras simultaneously, one wider, one closer. This gives us multiple perspectives on spontaneous moments. The kind you can't recreate by asking "can you do that again?"
We work intuitively, responding to what unfolds. That's the photographer in us, trained to see composition, light, and emotion in real time. Not from a storyboard, but from life itself.
Complete Creative Production
We handle everything from casting (including street casting when needed), location scouting, direction, cinematography, editing, color grading to sound design. Often collaborating with composers or sound artists for original music when the project calls for it.
Working this way keeps the creative vision consistent, the process efficient, and the result authentic.
For our clients: one team, one vision, one complete production.
Why This Matters
Our films don't just capture stories, they bring your organization to life. By focusing on real people and authentic moments, we help you showcase your culture, engage employees, and strengthen your employer brand.
The result? Communication that resonates, builds trust, and makes your organization relatable. Both internally and externally.
Films that feel cinematic, but real.
When needed, our films naturally extend into still photography and short-form edits for internal and social channels, created from the same moments, the same approach, and the same people.

The films highlight the human side of public service: the dedication, creativity, and care behind every decision, service, and initiative. They remind us that Amsterdam is not shaped by policies alone, but by the people who devote their daily work to the common good.
By showing real people and real stories, the campaign speaks directly to those considering a career in local government. It proves to be an effective way to inspire new talent — making the work of civil servants visible, relatable, and profoundly meaningful.

The campaign will be deployed as both print and digital abris (source Linkdesign)
