THE PROJECT - IZARIN and VAN DER LINDE wandered the streets of Amsterdam in lockdown after nightfall. A starkly different place from the normal bustling metropolis, that seemed, at first glance, to be abandoned. They were struck by the surreal, empty streets and squares, the unnaturally audible sounds of empty trams, the individual movement of a solitary cyclist, or a single human shrouded in shadow, in an eerily quiet yet still softly illuminated city.

The result is a panoramic video installation on 4 screens reflecting on a society and its residents that came to a stop due to covid.
